The City Of Buffalo opens it’s first outdoor Skatepark July 24th 2013. Mayor Byron Brown, Ellicott District Councilmember Darius Pridgen and Niagara District Council-member David Rivera attend the ribbon cutting ceremony along with local residents eager to get out there and skateboard, inline skate, and start BMX Biking in the beautiful new La Salle Skatepark on Buffalo waterfront. When Danny Scott’s son Andrew started skateboarding, the entertainment-industry veteran saw an opportunity.
Scott and his partner, world-famous skateboarder Christian Hasoi formed a company last year to expand into skateboard parks and other events, including the 2013 Southern California Summer Skateboarding Expo, which runs through Sunday at Pedlow Field Skate Park in Encino.
“We decided to do it here because we owe a lot to Pedlow. This is where Andrew skates and he’s here every day,” said the Encino resident.

What up though!?Coral loves her Uncle Chance.This year we’ve been invited to a private event hosted by Jeremy Labreau of Labreau Surfboards. While honoring his beloved Uncle Tony, we will be holding it down for him in style with a classic skate jam on the Labreau Mini Ramp. Sadly, I did not have the opportunity to meet Uncle Tony, but judging by the way Jeremy talks about him I know he was that special kind of human being; the kind of guy you’d want to smile like.
With proceeds of the silent auction at this event going to the American Cancer Society, I made sure we delivered some of our top selling hats, and shirts to be auctioned off.
