New Exhibit Shows Science Of Skateboarding

FORT LAUDERDALE (CBSMiami) – Whether you think of skateboarding as a sport, recreational activity, or mode of transportation, the simple fact is that it’s all about science, specifically physics.

That’s the genesis of an exhibit at the Museum of Discovery and Science to show the science behind the fun.

Gravity, momentum, and velocity are just some of the principles of physics the exhibit is showing off with the help of arguably the best skateboarder in history, Tony Hawk.
